defining identity

“defining identity” was my senior thesis project during my last semester of undergrad. For this project I wanted to explore how people define who they are, and how they consider their own identity as well as others. It started as a self-ethnography pinpointing what I feel has shaped my own sense of self, and overall, what makes people who they are. I then invited members of the Oxford community to leave me with responses when asked “what makes you, you?” I used these responses to inform my research and selected some for use in my final installation. My final install is a series of screen-prints of digitally manipulated images and written word.
